TV & Entertainment Systems

TV Sets
  • There are 4 TVs in the Unit
  1. Living Room: Samsung TV with remote
  2. Bunk Room: Sony TV with remote
  3. Upper Level Bedroom: Orbitz TV with remote
  4. Lower Level Bedroom: Vizio TV with remote
  • TV programming is provided by streaming using the fiber-optic internet network and Orbi routers and streaming devices connected to TVs via HDMI ports

Streaming Devices
Streaming "sticks" or "dongles" are used to connect the TVs to the Unit 130 Orbi wifi router and to provide steamed programming via the Apps loaded on these devices

  • Living Room: Samsung TV; Firestick with remote
  • Bunk Room: Sony TV; Chromecast with Goole TV with remote
  • Upper Level Bedroom: Firestick with remote
  • Lower Level Bedroom: Firestick with remote

Streaming Services

  • Both Chromecast with Google TV and Firestick have been loaded with addition streaming Apps that the resident can log in to with their private accounts:
    • Amazon Prime
    • Netflix
    • HBO-Max
    • Disney+
    • PBS Video
    • Note: Residents should be sure to log off of their personal accounts when departing

Streaming TV Programming
  • There is a wide variety of programming available through the basic services set up for use by renters.
  • Both Firestick and Chromecast with Google TV units come with access to free programming with basic apps preloaded.
  • The paid services provided for rentals [YouTubeTV and Hulu] have extensive streaming programming.
