Living Room TV + Firestick

Procedures for Use of Samsung TV and Firestick

Note: The Firestick Remote can turn on this TV and operate the volume control

Connections
  • The Firestick is connected to HDMI port.
  • The TV should be left with the HDMI port connected as the Source.
  • If the TV does not come on connected to the HMDI source, use the TV remote Source button to scroll through input sources to the HDMI port

To turn on TV and start streaming service:
  1. Use Firestick Remote to turn on Firestick and TV with button in the upper Left corner of remote
  2. TV should come on with the Firestick Home screen showing
  3. Use remote selector control to move to the desired App in the top list
  4. Push center of controller to select desired App

For Live TV Streams
  1. Select YouTubeTV App
  2. Use remote selector control to move right on top line of options to Live and Select
  3. A list of live streaming options appears.
  4. Use controller to move down to the desired channel and Select

Use of DVD + VCR
  1. Press Power button on DVD + VCR to turn on the player.
  2. Use TV remote to power on the TV
  3. Use the TV remote Source button to scroll through input sources to the AV1 port
  4. Insert DVD or Video Cassette to begin watching video
  5. When done use the TV remote Source button to scroll through input sources to the HMDI port
  6. Power off TV and DVD + VCR units
